What a Fabulous day!
What an fabulous day! Saturday 13th July 2024 saw the third RiderCamTV Rideout in Cornwall.
The weather the day before was like a Cornish monsoon, although much of the summer has been like that, but the weather gods were out in force for our Ride Out and the sun beamed through on us all for the entire day!
Over 90 bikes arrived to enjoy the day. Awesome coffee was on hand from Espresso Cornwall
Cornish Sting and Kerra from Out Of The Woods were on hand at the beginning and end of the ride with an assortment of fabulous home cooked cakes and refreshments too! And this year (although we are still counting the proceeds so we can work out our donation to Out Of The Woods), we sold loads of raffle tickets and had some fantastic prizes, donated from a range of amazing companies!
This year we wanted to help others in Cornwall once again, and are proud to say that everyone that came supported the wonderful charity, Out of the Woods CIC who provide therapeutic interventions for children and young people in Cornwall.
We have been able to make a £500 donation from the day, so that you to everyone who bought tickets and helped us raise an amazing amount for this amazing charity.
Our Route
Our route, expertly devised by Mark took us from Ocean BMW, through Constantine, Gweek and St Kevern and onto the Lizard where we stopped for a bite to eat at Chimichangas Tex Mex Street Food which was served quickly and the staff are so friendly.
From there we headed into Helston and followed the coastal route past Praa Sands and onto Marazion and then through St Hillary and onto Pencoys. From there we headed back into Helston and then along to Falmouth and Penryn, returning to Ocean BMW.
The drop off system worked really well and lots of people said that they really enjoyed the route and said that the roads where great. It’s always great to show the beauty of Cornwall and some hidden roads!!

Our Prize Raffle
Our prize raffle was a real hit this year with prizes having been donated from Cardo, Carpuride, Chigee, Techalogic, Rippl, Ocean and Vital ID.
From Helmet comms through to hoodies, we had loads and then there were loads of winners too!

We will be running another RiderCamTV Rideout next year and hope to make it bigger and better, so keep your eyes peeled for details nearer the time.
