What a great day!
The RiderCamTV RideOut – Part Cinco has officially been and gone, and what a fantastic day it was. After months of planning, route checking, organising raffle prizes and hoping for good weather, we couldn’t have asked for a better day to get everyone together.
In fact, we think this may have been our best weather yet for a RiderCamTV RideOut. Warm sunshine, clear skies and just enough of a gentle breeze to keep everyone cool while enjoying the roads of Cornwall. It was the perfect recipe for a brilliant day out on two wheels.
The day started at Ocean BMW Falmouth, where riders began arriving ready for the adventure ahead. Everyone had the chance to catch up with old friends, meet new faces and enjoy some much-needed coffee and cake, expertly supplied by Phil from Espresso Cornwall. As always, Phil kept everyone fuelled and ready for the miles ahead!
We were also incredibly lucky to have a fantastic selection of raffle prizes available this year. The support from our amazing partners meant we had everything from motorcycle CarPlay and Android Auto systems, right through to emergency helmet stickers and lots of other fantastic motorcycle goodies. The raffle created plenty of excitement, and it was brilliant to see so many people walking away with some great prizes.
Once everyone was fuelled up and ready, it was time to ride.
The route, expertly planned and led by Mark, certainly went down well with everyone. Leaving Falmouth, we headed through Redruth before making our way onto the stunning North Coast Road. With the sea views, flowing roads and incredible Cornish scenery, it was exactly what a motorcycle ride should be about.
From there, we continued our journey towards one of Cornwall’s most iconic locations — Lands End — where we stopped for lunch and had the opportunity to relax, chat and take in the amazing surroundings.
After lunch, we headed cross-country towards Helston before making our way back to Ocean BMW Falmouth. It was the perfect end to a brilliant day, with everyone gathering together to share stories, talk about their favourite parts of the ride and admire the incredible bikes on display at Ocean BMW.
Of course, no RiderCamTV RideOut would be complete without the raffle draw, and there were plenty of happy winners! More importantly, thanks to everyone’s generosity and support, we were able to raise enough money to make a £500 donation to our chosen charity, The Last Chance Hotel.
The Last Chance Hotel provides invaluable support in rescuing, caring for and rehoming animals, helping them find their forever homes. It means a lot to us that the RiderCamTV community can come together, enjoy a fantastic day of riding, and also make a real difference to such a worthwhile cause.
A huge thank you
